The world’s tallest hotel has officially opened its doors in Dubai. Ciel Dubai Marina, standing at an impressive 377 metres, has overtaken the Gevora Hotel (356 metres), also located in Dubai, to claim the global title.

The striking tower, developed by The First Group, rises across 82 floors and offers 1,004 rooms and suites, redefining luxury hospitality in the city. It also breaks another record with the world’s highest infinity pool, perched 310 metres above the city on the 76th floor.

The record-breaking pool is part of Tattu Dubai, the first international outpost of the renowned modern Asian restaurant brand born in Manchester.

Opened on October 10, the restaurant occupies level 74, while the Tattu Sky Lounge & Terrace on level 81 offers a sophisticated rooftop experience with 360-degree views of Dubai’s skyline.

Ciel Dubai Marina is operated by The First Group Hospitality under the Vignette Collection brand, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, ensuring guests a refined, contemporary experience with the signature flair of Dubai luxury.

Ideally positioned, the hotel provides direct access to Dubai Marina Mall and is well connected to metro and tram services, making it easy for guests to explore the area.

Nearby attractions include JBR Beach and Bluewaters Island, home to The Walk and Ain Dubai, the world’s tallest observation wheel.

Originally slated to open last year, the Dh2 billion ($544 million) project now joins Dubai’s record-breaking skyline, a city already home to eight of the world’s ten tallest hotels, including Rose Rayhaan by Rotana (333m), Burj Al Arab (321m), Jumeirah Emirates Towers (309m) and Address Beach Resort (301m).

With Ciel Dubai Marina, Dubai once again proves its mastery in pushing architectural and luxury boundaries, reaffirming its position as a global capital of innovation, design, and sky-high hospitality.
