Around 59 people were wounded - most lightly - by Iranian missile strikes on Dimona in southern Israel, according to Israeli emergency services Magen David Adom, as reported by multiple Israeli media outlets.

The area is home to Israel's nuclear research facility and a power plant — making it one of the most sensitive targets Iran has struck since the war began.

Earlier Saturday, Iran accused the United States and Israel of striking its Natanz nuclear site.

Natanz is Iran's most important uranium enrichment facility, the heart of its nuclear program and one of the primary targets of the US-Israeli campaign since Operation Epic Fury was launched on February 28.

The city of Arad, located 25 kilometers from Dimona, sustained another direct missile impact, causing significant damage and injuries, emergency services announced,  following the military's warning of an imminent incoming missile attack from Iran.

Three days left. Zero trust. Maximum danger

The fragile calm that briefly lifted over the Middle East has shattered. Iran has reimposed strict control over the Strait of Hormuz, reversing its decision to reopen the critical waterway just 24 hours earlier, and sending shockwaves through global energy markets ahead of Monday's open.
