Around 40 people were wounded - most lightly - by Iranian missile strikes on Dimona in southern Israel, according to Israeli emergency services Magen David Adom, as reported by multiple Israeli media outlets.

The area is home to Israel's nuclear research facility and a power plant — making it one of the most sensitive targets Iran has struck since the war began.

Earlier Saturday, Iran accused the United States and Israel of striking its Natanz nuclear site.

Natanz is Iran's most important uranium enrichment facility, the heart of its nuclear program and one of the primary targets of the US-Israeli campaign since Operation Epic Fury was launched on February 28.
