In line with the recent decision by Syria’s new authorities to dismantle all political entities formed during the Syrian Revolution, the National Salvation Front in Syria, established in 2014, has officially announced its dissolution.

Simultaneously, former members have declared the creation of a new political entity: the Syrian Liberal Party, which will be led by Fahad Almasri. Preparations are already underway for the party's inaugural conference, and an application for official licensing will be submitted once Syria’s new political party law is enacted.

The founding process includes organizational meetings across Syrian provinces and several European capitals, where the new leadership will also be formally introduced. The party’s political platform and official website will be shared in a separate statement.

Thousands of former members of the National Salvation Front will automatically transition into the Syrian Liberal Party.

The new party commits to carrying forward the same vision, ideas, and political program that inspired the National Salvation Front—focused on building a democratic future for Syria after the fall of the Assad regime.

The Syrian Liberal Party aims to take an active role in the political life of the new Syria, participating in local, municipal, and national elections.

In this final statement, the dissolved National Salvation Front thanked all those who have supported Syria’s cause and stood by the vision that has guided its political path.
