In an official statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) expressed its firm condemnation of the heinous act, reaffirming the country’s categorical rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism that aim to destabilize security and spread fear among civilians.
"The UAE stands in solidarity with the government and people of Australia in this difficult moment," the statement said, highlighting the UAE’s consistent position in opposing hatred, extremism, and attacks on religious communities.
The Ministry also extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to the wounded.
Australian authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident, which has been widely condemned as a hate-driven attack. The Sydney shooting has sparked renewed calls for vigilance against antisemitism and efforts to safeguard places of worship and minority communities.
