Combining the precision of Swiss watchmaking with the rich traditions of Islam, Tom Morf and Pascal Stübi have crafted a unique innovation with their Zurich-based company, Aramedes

Their latest creation, the 'Mecca Collection,' exemplifies this synthesis, offering a series of luxury watches designed for devout Muslims who value both elegance and religious observance.

The Mecca Collection is not just a statement of luxury; it’s a functional tool for Muslim faithful. Each watch in this collection boasts three core features:

Qibla Direction: A compass function that accurately indicates the direction of Mecca, ensuring users can pray facing the right direction no matter where they are

Prayer Times: Displays the five daily prayer times, helping users observe their religious duties promptly.

Fasting Periods: Indicates the fasting periods during Ramadan, facilitating the observance of this significant Islamic practice.

These features are seamlessly integrated with a dedicated smartphone application, allowing users to customize settings and receive timely notifications.

Initially, the Mecca Collection has found a strong market presence in several Arab countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain.

The founders, however, have their sights set on expanding the reach of their watches to the broader Muslim world, recognizing the high demand for such innovative timepieces.

Aramedes has successfully merged the artistry of Swiss horology with the spiritual needs of the Muslim community. The Mecca Collection stands as a testament to this fusion, offering a sophisticated solution that caters to the daily religious practices of its wearers while maintaining a high standard of luxury and elegance.

With plans for further global distribution, Aramedes is poised to make a significant impact in the luxury watch market, particularly within the Muslim world, where the blend of tradition and technology is highly valued.
