Ethiopian Airlines is expanding its Middle Eastern network with the launch of direct flights to Jizan, Saudi Arabia, starting January 1, 2026.

Located in southwestern Saudi Arabia, near the border with Yemen, Jizan (also spelled Jazan) sits along the Red Sea coast.

The city is known for its warm climate, fertile agricultural lands, and proximity to the stunning Farasan Islands, a protected marine reserve famed for its coral reefs, marine life, and pristine beaches.

As a rising economic and tourism hub, Jizan attracts both business travelers and holidaymakers looking for authentic Saudi experiences away from the major metropolitan centers.
