Egypt will host the inaugural AI Everything Middle East & Africa summit and exhibition from February 10–12, 2026, highlighting practical applications of artificial intelligence across critical sectors.

Organized by GITEX GLOBAL, the event will gather policymakers, major tech corporations, startups, experts, and over 200 investors from 60+ countries, positioning itself as a leading platform for innovation, investment, and international collaboration.

A youth-focused innovation hackathon will also feature, aiming to channel regional talent into experimental AI projects.

Held in partnership with Egypt’s Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), the summit aligns with the country’s National AI Strategy and digital transformation agenda.

Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat said Egypt’s hosting reflects both its rising role on the global tech map and the international community’s confidence in its technological and human capital.

He stressed that AI has become a central pillar of Egypt’s digital strategy, driving growth, competitiveness, and sustainable development.

The event marks a key milestone in advancing Egypt’s use of AI to strengthen its digital economy and reinforce its leadership in the region’s technology landscape.
