Flydubai to resume Beirut flights on April 18
The gradual return of normalcy to Lebanon is gaining momentum. Flydubai, Dubai's second largest carrier after Emirates, has announced the resumption of its flights to Beirut on April 18.
The organising committee of the World Sports Summit has announced a new group of speakers for the upcoming edition, scheduled for December 29–30 at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai, under the theme “Uniting the World Through Sport”.
More than 1,500 participants are expected to attend, alongside over 20 high-level dialogue and discussion sessions
The organising committee of the World Sports Summit has announced a new group of speakers for the upcoming edition, scheduled for December 29–30 at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai, under the theme “Uniting the World Through Sport”.
With the latest additions, the total number of speakers has reached 70 high-profile figures from across the global sports landscape.
The newly revealed speakers include football legends Francesco Totti, Andrés Iniesta, and Cafu; American football stars Victor Cruz and Marques Colston; NBA figure Baron Davis; women’s basketball icon Sue Bird; and WTA tennis champion Paula Badosa.
Regarded as the largest global sports gathering of its kind, the summit will bring together senior decision-makers, international sports federations, investors, innovators, and global experts on one platform to exchange ideas and shape the future of sport.
More than 1,500 participants are expected to attend, alongside over 20 high-level dialogue and discussion sessions.
In addition, the summit will host the 13th edition of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Sports Award, presented in a renewed format that reflects Dubai’s vision of expanding sporting excellence to include humanitarian impact, institutional leadership, and global development initiatives.
From elite performance to social influence, the World Sports Summit aims to position Dubai as a global hub for shaping the future of sport.
