A group of Palestinian prisoners, released under the ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel, arrived in Egypt via the Rafah border crossing on Saturday, according to Al Qahera News.
These individuals are being transferred to Egypt before their eventual exile abroad, as outlined in the terms of the prisoner swap deal.
A total of 70 Palestinian prisoners, many of whom were serving life sentences in Israeli prisons, are included in this phase of the exchange.
They are set to be exiled after entering Egyptian territory. This marks a significant development in the ongoing ceasefire arrangement mediated by Egyptian, Qatari, and U.S. officials.
