Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has embarked on a European tour aimed at bolstering cooperation and coordination between Egypt and European nations, according to an official presidential statement.

The tour includes visits to Denmark, Norway, and Ireland, with plans to discuss strategic partnerships, sign agreements, and engage with key political and business leaders.

President El-Sisi began his tour in Copenhagen, Denmark, where he met with the Danish King, Prime Minister, and Speaker of the Danish Parliament.

During his visit, El-Sisi witnessed the signing of a strategic partnership declaration and several memoranda of understanding (MoUs) to enhance cooperation in various fields. These agreements underscore the growing relationship between Egypt and Denmark, covering areas of mutual interest such as trade, energy, and sustainable development.

The second stop on the president's tour is Oslo, Norway, where he is scheduled to meet with Norway’s King, Prime Minister, and Speaker of the Norwegian Parliament.

In addition to political discussions, El-Sisi will engage with leaders of prominent Norwegian companies operating in Egypt. The visit aims to attract investment and solidify economic ties, with multiple cooperation agreements expected to be signed between the two nations.

Egypt’s collaboration with Norway has been particularly active in energy and maritime industries, making this leg of the tour a crucial step in reinforcing economic partnerships.

President El-Sisi will conclude his European tour in Dublin, Ireland, where he is set to meet with the Irish President and Prime Minister. Discussions will focus on enhancing bilateral cooperation and aligning positions on key international issues.

The visit aims to strengthen diplomatic ties and explore opportunities for collaboration in sectors such as education, agriculture, and technology.

The presidential statement emphasized that the tour reflects Egypt's commitment to deepening its relationships with European nations. By signing strategic agreements and fostering political dialogue, Egypt seeks to enhance its role as a regional partner and contributor to global stability.

President El-Sisi’s European tour comes at a time when Egypt is actively working to diversify its international partnerships and attract foreign investment, signaling the country's determination to expand its influence and strengthen ties with key global players.
