Dubai-based airline Flydubai has reinforced its commitment to aviation safety by signing the IATA Safety Leadership Charter, joining over 150 global carriers in promoting a strong, transparent, and accountable safety culture.

The charter was signed by CEO Ghaith Al Ghaith, who emphasized the airline’s dedication to maintaining the highest safety standards. “By embedding the Charter’s guiding principles into our daily operations, we aim to contribute to a stronger and safer global aviation industry,” he said.

Developed by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the charter encourages visible leadership in safety and promotes trust and continuous improvement across all levels of airline operations.

This move aligns with Flydubai’s broader strategy to lead with a safety-first culture while fostering collaboration within the global aviation industry.

FlyDubai is positioned as a bridge between regional and long-haul travel, targeting secondary cities and underserved routes, often feeding passengers to Emirates for intercontinental connections.
