In recent days, Lebanon has been grappling with severe weather conditions that have made transportation across the country extremely challenging.

Unrelenting rains have led to flooding on coastal roads, making them impassable for vehicles.

Simultaneously, higher altitudes in the mountainous regions have experienced heavy snowfall, further complicating travel conditions.

These adverse weather events have disrupted daily life and commerce in various parts of the country.

While adverse weather during January is not uncommon, the situation has been exacerbated by a faltering state, neglected road maintenance, and inadequate public services.

The impact of these weather-related difficulties serves as a stark reminder of the ongoing challenges faced by Lebanon, which is currently grappling with an unprecedented economic crisis and persistent political tensions.
