Field commanders of the Houthi rebels secretly met with experts from Iran's Revolutionary Guards in Yemen’s Hodeidah district to discuss "a plan for military escalation that Tehran intends to implement in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden," Sky News Arabia reported Sunday evening, citing two Yemeni sources.

Since October 7th, the Iran-backed militia has launched numerous attacks against commercial ships.
