Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Tuesday that negotiations with the United States would not serve Tehran's interests and would prove a "dead-end".
In a recorded message, Khamenei also said Iran would not "surrender to pressure" regarding uranium enrichment and he reiterated Tehran's long-standing official position that it does not need nuclear weapons and has no intention of producing them.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian vowed on Saturday that Iran would overcome any reimposition of sanctions on it through a so-called "snapback" process, after the U.N. Security Council voted not to permanently lift sanctions on Tehran.
The United Nations Security Council did not adopt a draft resolution on Friday to permanently lift sanctions on Iran, but Tehran and key European powers still have eight days to try and agree to a delay.
