Israel has declared it is ready to resume military operations against Iran, pending authorisation from Washington.
In a video statement released Thursday, Defence Minister Israel Katz said Israeli forces are prepared "both defensively and offensively" and that targets inside Iran have already been designated.

The minister went further, declaring Israel's intent to "bring Iran back to the dark ages and the Stone Age."
The statement represents one of the most explicit public threats issued by an Israeli official toward Tehran in recent weeks.
