Defense Minister Israel Katz announced Friday that the Israeli military will expand and intensify its strikes against Iran in direct response to Tehran's continued missile bombardment of Israeli civilians.

"The Prime Minister and I warned the Iranian terrorist regime to stop firing missiles at Israel's civilian population," Katz declared at a briefing. The warning was ignored. "Despite these warnings, the firing continued, and as a result, the Israeli army's attacks against Iran will intensify and expand to additional targets and areas that help the regime build and use weapons against Israeli citizens."
