The troubling disappearance of a former Lebanese security officer
Ahmad Ali Chokr, a former officer of Lebanon’s General Security, has not been seen for the past ten days, according to Lebanese judicial and security sources.

Iran's Supreme leader Ali Khamenei said on Friday that the Hamas massacre of October 7 was justified.
The Iranian leader spoke in an unusual address in Arabic. He said the Iranian missile attack on Israel was minimal in light of its crimes.
Khamenei said slain Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was "a dear brother and source of pride."
