Kuwait's Fire Force said on Sunday that two of its officers were killed "while performing duties," according to a post on X.

Kuwaiti authorities reported material damage to Kuwait International Airport following a drone attack, as Iran continues its retaliatory strikes against Gulf states in response to the US-Israeli military campaign against the Islamic Republic.
"Civil aviation announces that Kuwait International Airport was targeted by several drones, causing material damage only," authorities said in an official statement, adding that no casualties were reported.
The attack on Kuwait's main airport marks a significant escalation, bringing the conflict directly to civilian infrastructure in the Gulf. Iran has been launching retaliatory strikes across the region since the joint US-Israeli offensive, dubbed Operation Epic Fury, targeting Iranian military and nuclear facilities on February 28.
Kuwait joins a growing list of Gulf states absorbing Iranian strikes, alongside Qatar, the UAE, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, as Tehran seeks to widen the theater of conflict and maximize pressure on Washington's regional allies.
