Lebanese carrier Middle East Airlines (MEA) will resume flights to and from Riyadh starting Monday, November 2, after a roughly three-week suspension.
The Saudi capital’s King Khalid International Airport was shut following strikes by Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi rebels, one of which killed 13 people.
During the closure, MEA diverted its Riyadh-bound flights to other Saudi airports that remained open.
Riyadh airport partially reopened last Sunday, with two terminals now operational, despite ongoing hostilities between Saudi Arabia and the Houthis.
