The Lebanese Army and the Internal Security Forces (ISF) have been heavily deployed in Beirut and its surroundings to combat the rising crime and law violations, sources in the Lebanese capital reported on Sunday.

With the economic crisis and political chaos, crime has skyrocketed in Beirut. Attacks on businesses, robberies in upscale restaurants, burglaries, and kidnappings—the list of incidents is long.

Lebanon is without a president, has a powerless Prime Minister, and a government that is only handling current affairs.

As if one misfortune wasn't enough, Lebanon is under the influence of Iran and its militia, Hezbollah, which has caused the exodus of tens of thousands of residents from South Lebanon.
