The President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has bestowed the prestigious First Class Order of Zayed II on Tugay Tunçer, the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the UAE.
This honour recognizes the ambassador's exceptional efforts in strengthening the strategic partnership between the two nations across multiple sectors during his tenure.
The accolade was presented by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, during a formal meeting in Abu Dhabi.
Sheikh Abdullah commended Ambassador Tunçer for his significant contributions to bolstering UAE-Turkish relations, which have witnessed remarkable growth in recent years.
In his response, Tunçer highlighted the robust and distinguished relationship between Türkiye and the UAE, emphasizing the progress achieved through their collaboration.
