Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, officially inaugurated Web Summit Qatar 2025 on Sunday at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center.
This marks the second edition of the largest technology event in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
During his keynote address, the Prime Minister reaffirmed Qatar's commitment to strengthening its position as a global hub for innovation and entrepreneurship. He emphasized the country's ongoing regulatory reforms and efforts to create new economic opportunities to empower the private sector and attract international investment.
Web Summit Qatar 2025 commenced with panel discussions featuring leading entrepreneurs from around the world. This year’s edition has expanded significantly, welcoming over 25,000 attendees from 124+ countries, more than 1,520 startups showcasing groundbreaking innovations, over 600 investors seeking promising ventures.
Throughout the summit, panel discussions and workshops will delve into technological advancements, digital market trends, and future industry disruptions.
The event serves as a crucial platform for entrepreneurs, investors, and tech leaders to exchange knowledge and forge strategic partnerships.
