Leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries have extended their congratulations to the Saudi leadership for the successful organization and execution of the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage, which drew nearly 1.4 million Muslim pilgrims since its start on Wednesday.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received messages of praise and appreciation from fellow regional leaders.

These included UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, Oman’s Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Qatar’s Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, and Kuwait’s Emir Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

Saudi Arabia deployed cutting-edge technologies and artificial intelligence systems to manage logistics, crowd control, and emergency response during this year’s pilgrimage—widely considered one of the world’s largest religious gatherings.

More than a million pilgrims were provided with comprehensive services including clean water, meals, shelter, medical care, and transportation across key pilgrimage sites in Makkah and Madinah.

The 2025 Hajj comes at a time when Saudi Arabia continues to expand its digital infrastructure and public service capabilities, aligning with Vision 2030 goals to enhance the Kingdom’s global standing and religious tourism sector.

The congratulatory messages also reflect a strong sense of regional solidarity and shared pride in Saudi Arabia’s leadership role in the Islamic world.
