A Palestinian man stabbed an 83-year-old woman to death in the Israeli city of Herzliya, Israeli media reported on Friday, in what police described as a terrorist attack.
Ambulance services said the woman was treated at the scene by paramedics and transferred in a critical condition to hospital. Israeli media reported she later died of her wounds.
Police said the attacker, a former security services informant from the northern area of the occupied West Bank, was caught and arrested.

In a move hailed as “historic” by Israeli officials, Fiji officially inaugurated its embassy in Jerusalem on Wednesday, becoming one of the very few nations to establish a diplomatic mission in the contested city.
