Storm closes Dubai International Airport temporarily

Operations at Dubai International Airport (DXB) were suspended for 25 minutes on Tuesday due to an intense storm, it said in a statement.

Operations at Dubai International Airport (DXB) were suspended for 25 minutes on Tuesday due to an intense storm, it said in a statement.

Operations have restarted, the airport added.

A total of 21 outbound and 24 inbound flights have been cancelled since 12.02 am this morning, and three flights were diverted to other neighboring airports, a DXB spokesperson told Gulf News.
