Syria’s interim president, Ahmad Al-Chareh, arrived in Saudi Arabia on Sunday, marking his first foreign visit since taking power in Syria after overthrowing Bashar Al-Assad.

Syria’s interim president, Ahmad Al-Chareh, arrived in Saudi Arabia on Sunday, marking his first foreign visit since taking power in Syria after overthrowing Bashar Al-Assad.

Accompanied by Foreign Minister Assaad Al-Chaibani, Al-Chareh was welcomed by Saudi officials upon his arrival, as shown in footage broadcast by the Saudi state television channel Al-Ekhbariya.

According to Al-Ekhbariya, the Syrian interim leader is expected to meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the de facto ruler of Saudi Arabia, though no specific timeframe for the meeting has been disclosed.
