Israeli Channel 12 has revealed 14 of the 15 American demands transmitted to Iran as conditions for a ceasefire.

Iranian regime propaganda outlets have indicated that Tehran rejected the peace plan proposed by the United States. However, what the regime says should not be taken at face value.

Here are the 14 points:

  1. Iran must dismantle its existing military nuclear capabilities.
  2. Iran must commit to never seeking to acquire nuclear weapons.
  3. No uranium enrichment may take place on Iranian soil.
  4. Iran must hand over, within a timeframe to be established, its stockpile of approximately 450 kg of uranium enriched to 60% to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
  5. The nuclear facilities at Natanz, Isfahan and Fordow must be rendered inoperable and destroyed.
  6. The IAEA must be granted full access, complete transparency and comprehensive oversight across all Iranian territory.
  7. Iran must abandon its "paradigm" of relying on regional allies.
  8. Iran must cease financing, directing and arming its regional allies.
  9. The Strait of Hormuz must remain open and function as a free maritime corridor.
  10. Iran's ballistic missile program must be limited, both in range and volume, according to thresholds to be defined at a later stage.
  11. Any future use of missiles must be strictly limited to self-defense.
  12. Full lifting of sanctions imposed by the international community.
  13. American assistance in developing Iran's civilian nuclear program, including electricity production at the Bushehr power plant.
  14. Removal of the so-called "snapback" mechanism, which allows for the automatic reinstatement of sanctions in the event of Iranian non-compliance.
