Saudi real estate developer Dar Global will launch two Trump-branded luxury developments in Riyadh and Jeddah with a combined value of $10 billion, CEO Ziad El Chaar announced Sunday.

The projects include the Trump National Golf Course and Trump International Hotel in Riyadh's Diriyah, a massive development on the Saudi capital's western edge, Chaar told Reuters.

In Jeddah, the plans feature mixed-use offices and residential properties in a development named Trump Plaza.

The projects align with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 initiative to diversify the economy away from oil dependence, Chaar explained, with the aim of attracting direct foreign investment.

The kingdom also plans to allow foreigners to own property for the first time in designated areas, starting this month—a significant policy shift designed to boost international investment.

Trump Organization Expands Gulf Presence

The latest partnership between the Trump Organization and Dar Global, the international arm of Saudi developer Dar Al Arkan, is expected to be completed over the next four to five years, according to Eric Trump, U.S. President Donald Trump's son and executive vice president of the Trump Organization.

This announcement represents the latest in a series of collaborations between the Trump brand and Gulf developers, raising questions about potential conflicts of interest as Donald Trump simultaneously serves as U.S. president while his family business expands operations in a strategic Middle Eastern ally.

The timing and scale of these projects underscore the close relationship between the Trump family and Saudi Arabia, a connection that has drawn scrutiny from ethics watchdogs who argue that a sitting president's business interests in foreign nations create problematic entanglements.

Saudi Arabia has proven a particularly lucrative market for Trump-branded developments, with the kingdom's rulers eager to associate with internationally recognized luxury brands as they attempt to transform the country's image and attract Western investment and tourism.

The $10 billion valuation makes this one of the most significant Trump Organization international deals, dwarfing many previous projects and highlighting the financial opportunities available to the Trump family through their Saudi partnerships.

For Riyadh, associating with the Trump brand offers immediate international recognition for their Vision 2030 projects, even as questions persist about whether attaching a politically polarizing American name to Saudi developments will ultimately help or hinder their global appeal.
