UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Kuwait's Minister of Foreign Affairs, in Abu Dhabi for high-level talks that placed the ongoing Iranian threat at the centre of Gulf diplomatic consultations.

The meeting addressed what both sides described as the "serious implications" of continued Iranian terrorist attacks targeting the UAE, Kuwait and other countries in the region, including strikes on civilians and civilian infrastructure.

The two leaders discussed their countries' efforts to safeguard their security, sovereignty, territorial integrity and the safety of their peoples.
