UAE announces 2024 holidays calendar for government, private sectors

The UAE has approved its official holidays calendar for both government and private sectors in 2024, the official WAM news agency reported on Tuesday.

The confirmed list for 2024 includes:

  • January 1: New Year’s Day
  • April 8 – 12: Eid al-Fitr
  • June 15: Arafa Day
  • June 16 – 18: Eid al-Adha
  • July 7: Islamic New Year
  • September 15: Prophet Mohammed’s birthday
  • December 2 – 3: National Day
