Egypt turns to Qatar for LNG as gas production slips
Egypt and Qatar have signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen cooperation in liquefied natural gas (LNG) sales and imports, Egypt’s petroleum ministry said on Sunday.

The United States Central Command will host a conference in Doha on December 16 with partner nations to plan the International Stabilization Force for Gaza, two U.S. officials told Reuters on Friday.
More than 25 countries are expected to send representatives to the conference, which will include sessions on the command structure and other issues related to the Gaza force, the officials said.

The United Arab Emirates said on Saturday it was deeply concerned by ongoing escalation in Yemen after Saudi-backed government forces swept into areas seized last month by UAE-backed southern separatists seeking independence.
Saudi Arabia on Saturday invited “all southern factions” of Yemen to attend dialogue talks in Riyadh, seeking to halt escalating clashes between southern separatists and other members of the internationally backed coalition.
