The Yemeni Houthi rebels claimed responsibility on Friday for a missile attack targeting Tel Aviv’s airport, following Israeli airstrikes on Houthi-controlled sites in Yemen, including Sanaa International Airport.

In a statement, the Houthis also asserted they had launched drone strikes on the city of Tel Aviv, located in central Israel, and a vessel in the Arabian Sea.

“The Israeli aggression will only strengthen the determination of the great Yemeni people to continue supporting the Palestinian people,” the group declared.

As of now, Israeli authorities have not responded to the Houthis’ claims. The incident marks an escalation in tensions as the Houthis extend their operations beyond Yemen’s borders in response to perceived threats.
