Preparations in Abu Dhabi have accelerated sharply as the UAE readies to host the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, with the action set to ignite at Yas Marina Circuit in just 10 days.

Following Max Verstappen’s win and the dramatic double disqualification of McLaren in Las Vegas, the championship is now poised for a possible three-way title showdown in Abu Dhabi.

Only 24 points separate current leader Lando Norris from Oscar Piastri and Verstappen, with 58 points still available over the final two rounds. All signs point to the season concluding with a fierce, on-track battle at the 24th and final race of the year, taking place from December 4 to 7.

After a year of planning, coordination and logistical build-up, the finishing touches are being applied across Yas Island. All ten F1 teams, 20 drivers and an impressive lineup of eight global headline performers are preparing to land in the UAE.

Last year’s Grand Prix attracted a record 192,000 fans over four days, and early projections suggest the 2025 edition is on course to surpass that milestone.

Spectators from 105 countries are expected to converge on the capital — a clear reflection of Abu Dhabi’s growing stature as one of Formula 1’s most internationally celebrated destinations.

As engines prepare to roar and the global spotlight turns once again to Yas Marina Circuit, anticipation is reaching full throttle for what could become one of the most dramatic season finales in recent F1 history.
