The annual Arab Media Forum launched in Dubai on Monday, kicking off a three-day summit that brings together media leaders and executives from across the region.

This year’s forum is geared toward youth, focusing on equipping the next generation of journalists and media professionals with the tools and knowledge necessary to thrive in the rapidly evolving media industry in the Arab world.

For the past two decades, the forum has served as a vital platform for regional and international speakers to discuss the industry's challenges and its impact on Arab societies.

This year is no different, with an impressive lineup of more than 1,000 creative and media students expected to attend. They will be joined by prominent Arab personalities, content creators, and global media industry leaders who will participate in various panel discussions and master classes.

Among the notable speakers are Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the king’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs in Bahrain, and Dr. Sultan Al-Neyadi, the UAE’s minister of state for youth affairs. These influential figures will share their insights and experiences, aiming to inspire and guide the young attendees.

Monday’s schedule is packed with master classes on Meta, storytelling tools, interactive media, and building personal brands. These sessions aim to provide practical skills and knowledge that attendees can apply in their careers.

The opening day also features panels and discussions covering topics such as sports media, the art of directing, and redefining storytelling.

These sessions are designed to explore the latest trends and techniques in media, offering attendees a comprehensive understanding of the current landscape.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, the forum will delve into discussions on key political, economic, and technological developments.

Media personalities, editors in chief, writers, and experts from the region and around the world will lead these discussions, providing diverse perspectives and expert analysis on the issues shaping the media industry today.

The forum will culminate in an awards ceremony recognizing content creators and journalists across various categories.

This event aims to celebrate excellence in media and highlight the contributions of outstanding individuals and organizations in the industry.
