Israeli military strikes Beirut's southern suburbs
The Israeli military said on Thursday that it was attacking Hezbollah targets in Beirut's southern suburbs, and the Lebanese state news agency reported three strikes.

The Shiite party and al-Manar television channel first announced the death of Nahdiya Safieddine on Saturday evening.
A second statement, released later in the evening in the name of the "Hezbollah Command," clarified that she passed away "after a long battle with illness," honoring her memory as a "faithful mother who gave birth to a loyal and generous family."
The party extended its condolences to the Nasrallah family, especially to the deceased's husband, Abdelkarim Nasrallah.
The funeral took place on Sunday in Ghobeiry, a suburb in the southern part of Beirut.
