According to the reports, the contacts were renewed following the visit of an Israeli delegation to Cairo Monday.
The delegation brought a "revised" proposal, which, as per the report, included new clauses related to a cease-fire, stages of humanitarian aid and mechanisms for prisoner exchange.
The report also noted that the Egyptian side asked the Palestinians to urgently send representatives to Cairo and communicated with Qatari mediators as well.
