Etihad Airways is gearing up for what promises to be one of its busiest winter seasons ever, with more than 2 million travellers expected to pass through Abu Dhabi in December alone.

The combination of festive holiday travel and Abu Dhabi’s booming cultural and leisure scene is driving unprecedented demand, positioning the UAE capital as a top global destination this winter.

With extended school holidays prompting UAE residents to fly abroad and international visitors flocking to explore Abu Dhabi’s museums, theme parks, beaches, and events, Etihad’s expanded 2025 network is operating at full strength to meet the surge.

Etihad has issued simple but essential advice for December passengers: arrive early, check in online, and use the airline’s city and digital services to avoid congestion during one of the busiest months of the year.

As Abu Dhabi continues its rise as a must-visit global destination, paired with Etihad’s ambitious growth strategy, the airline is poised to deliver one of its strongest winter performances to date.
