Hamas confirms death of its military leader Mohammed Sinwar
The Palestinian militant group Hamas confirmed on Saturday the death of its Gaza military chief Mohammad Sinwar, a few months after Israel said it killed him in a strike in May.

"The meeting focused on the latest political developments and the situation on the ground in Palestine," said Nasser Kanaani, a spokesperson for Iran's foreign ministry.
"Haniyeh spoke about the high morale and aspirations of the resistance in the field." Kanaani also noted that Haniyeh said Hamas is ready for a cease-fire, but the terrorist organization will not negotiate under Israeli attacks.
