The meeting shed light on the close collaboration between the Houthi rebels and Iran, particularly in light of ongoing regional issues.

During the meeting, Ali-Akbar Ahmadian commended the Houthi movement for their unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, emphasizing their shared interests in the region. Abdulsalam, in a post on the X platform, stressed the importance of unity against external threats and stated that "Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip is a threat to everyone."

This meeting between Houthi representatives and Iranian officials highlights their strong alliance, especially concerning recent developments in the Red Sea, where Houthi rebels have launched attacks on commercial vessels, and their shared interests related to Israel.
