Lebanon's Hezbollah group said it carried out a drone attack on Monday against an Israeli air defence outpost across the border in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.

It said the rare attack, in which it deployed four drones, hit their target with "accuracy" in what it said was another operation in support of Palestinian militant groups in Gaza.

Israel attacked the area of Baalbek in central Lebanon, located about 100 kilometers north of their shared border, Hezbollah-affiliated Lebanese network Al Mayadeen reported Monday night.

This marks the first time the IDF targeted the area since February 26 and the second time overall since the outset of the war on October 7. Al Mayadeen also reported a strike in the town of Shmustar, west of Baalbek
