Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman al-Safadi warned on Sunday that the risk of war spilling over across the Middle East increases "as the aggression against Gaza continues." Meeting with his French counterpart Stéphane Sejourne in Jordan, Safadi emphasized the urgent need to halt the war and continue supporting UNRWA, the UN relief agency for Palestinian refugees.

Ayman al-Safadi is no stranger to making statements against Israel.
