King Abdullah II of Jordan was received by Pope Francis at the Vatican on Thursday.

He condemned "attacks against Palestinians in Jerusalem and the West Bank" and criticized Israel for "violating the holy sites ».

The king's claims are inaccurate.

There are no violations of Christian and Jewish holy sites.

Regarding the mosques (Omar and Al Aqsa), they have been managed by the Hashemite Kingdom since 1967.
