Manchester City has officially announced the launch of the Ramadan Esports Football Cup, a regional gaming tournament bringing together players from across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

Open to participants from the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Algeria, the competition is set to unite gamers in a celebration of football and community during the holy month of Ramadan.

The tournament is accessible on multiple gaming platforms, ensuring broad participation regardless of console or device. Players will enter national qualifying rounds, where they are given a five-hour window to complete up to ten matches against regional opponents.

The top-performing players from each national round will move on to the semi-finals, scheduled for April 4th at 13:00 local time. The winners of the semi-final matches will then compete in the grand final, held later that same day.

The tournament is open to players of all levels and is available across a range of different platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PC.

Exclusive Prizes for Finalists

Finalists will receive a selection of exclusive prizes, including a one-on-one match with a Manchester City Esports professional player. Winners will also be awarded an official Manchester City jersey, signed by the entire first-team squad—making it a truly memorable experience for any fan of the club or the game.

With this initiative, Manchester City continues to strengthen its presence in the digital sports arena and further engage its growing fanbase in the MENA region, blending esports, football passion, and cultural celebration.
