South Africa national football team opened their campaign at the Africa Cup of Nations with a 2-1 victory over Angola national football team on Tuesday at Marrakech Stadium.

Morocco rolled out nationwide emergency aid to help tens of thousands of families affected by freezing temperatures, heavy rain and snow this winter, authorities said on Tuesday.

At least 37 people were killed in flash floods triggered by torrential rains on Sunday in Morocco's Atlantic coastal province of Safi, 330 kilometres (205 miles) south of the capital Rabat, Morocco's state-run 2M TV reported on Monday.
