The complex features a 5,000-seat main stadium, complemented by two additional courts with 500 seats each. In addition to its nine outdoor tennis courts, the facility includes three 3x3 basketball courts, three padel courts, and a 600-square-meter multipurpose space, enabling it to host a diverse range of sporting events.
Since its inception in 2004, the Abu Dhabi International Tennis Complex has been at the forefront of tennis in the region. Its inaugural tournament in 2006 set the stage for a series of high-profile events, including the renowned Mubadala World Tennis Championship, which regularly attracts the world’s top 10 players.
In February 2025, the complex will host the third edition of the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open, a prestigious WTA 500 event and a highlight of its annual calendar. Over the years, tennis legends such as Maria Sharapova, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Ons Jabeur, and Carlos Alcaraz have graced its courts, solidifying its reputation as a hub for world-class tennis.
Beyond tennis, the Abu Dhabi International Tennis Complex has expanded its reach to host a variety of international events, including the Special Olympics World Games, the FIBA 3x3 World Tour, and even WWE wrestling matches. The addition of basketball and padel courts further diversifies its capabilities, making it a versatile venue for a wide range of sports.
