Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed on Monday that Israel would continue to strike Hezbollah "without mercy," including in the Lebanese capital of Beirut.

The statement was made in a video released by his office following a visit to a military base that had been targeted by a Hezbollah drone attack the previous day, which resulted in the deaths of four Israeli soldiers.

"I want to be clear: we will continue to strike Hezbollah mercilessly in all parts of Lebanon, including in Beirut," Netanyahu said. His comments come amid escalating tensions between Israel and the Iran-backed Hezbollah, which have led to an intensification of hostilities along the Israel-Lebanon border.
