The National Salvation Front in Syria (NSFS) has issued a strong condemnation of Hezbollah’s terrorist assaults on UN peacekeeping forces in Lebanon, calling for swift justice against those responsible.
The NSFS denounced Hezbollah as a terrorist organization, emphasizing that it serves as Iran’s most dangerous regional tool for destabilization and destruction. The statement accused Tehran of spreading chaos across Syria, Lebanon, and the broader Middle East, describing Hezbollah as the longest arm of the Iranian “devilish octopus” responsible for fueling war, terrorism, and instability.
The NSFS praised the United States for its firm stance in opposing Hezbollah’s participation in Lebanon’s new government. Expressing support for Lebanon’s newly formed administration and its president, the NSFS urged the government to work toward national unity and full sovereignty, while actively dismantling Iran’s military and intelligence networks in the country.
The statement also commended Syrian forces for eradicating terrorist strongholds, extremist groups, and drug manufacturing facilities near the Syria-Lebanon border. According to the NSFS, these efforts have restored Syrian sovereignty over critical areas, significantly weakening Hezbollah’s operations.
The NSFS urged the international community to send an independent inspection committee to investigate Hezbollah’s possession of weapons of mass destruction and chemical weapons. The statement accused the Assad regime of secretly transferring these weapons to Hezbollah in 2013, calling for immediate international scrutiny.
Reaffirming its commitment to liberating Syria from Iranian influence and terrorism, the NSFS called on regional and international powers to take decisive action against Hezbollah and support Lebanon’s full independence from foreign interference.
