Saudi Arabia’s Al-Nassr Football Club was the third most searched sports team globally in 2023, according to Google’s Year in Search.

Every year, Google releases its top search data for the year for several categories, including sports teams, news, people, and recipes, as well as several other categories.

For 2023, Al-Nassr ranked third in the sports team category after Inter Miami CF and the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team and ahead of Manchester City FC and Miami Heat basketball team.

The Riyadh-based football club has garnered worldwide fame after acquiring Portuguese icon Cristiano Ronaldo to join the squad at the end of 2022.

Since then, Al-Nassr has also signed former Bayern Munich player Sadio Mane, former Manchester United defender Alex Telles, and Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.
