Syria calls for total Arab break with Tehran

In one of its boldest statements to date, the Syrian Liberal Party (SLP) has fired a direct broadside at the Iranian regime, accusing Tehran of systematically destabilizing the Middle East, exploiting terrorist organizations, and threatening the security of the entire Gulf region.

The SLP pulled no punches. Condemning Iranian attacks targeting Gulf Cooperation Council member states, the party declared Tehran "fully responsible for any threat to regional and international security," warning that Iran's policy of "exporting crises and igniting conflicts" will only deepen its international isolation.

The statement goes further, drawing a direct line between Iran and ISIS activity in Syrian territories. 

According to the SLP, recent movements of ISIS elements,  timed precisely with escalating tensions ahead of confrontation with Iran, are "not mere isolated field developments," but rather "glaring political and security evidence of the direct use of this organization within the calculations of the Iranian regime."

A damning accusation. And a calculated one.

The SLP is not content with words alone. It is demanding concrete action, urging the Arab League to convene an emergency session and take decisive measures, including the complete severance of diplomatic and economic relations with Iran.

The message is clear: Arab unity is not optional. It is a strategic necessity.

The UAE's Occupied Islands: Enough Is Enough

The party also threw its full weight behind the United Arab Emirates' legitimate claim to the three Iranian-occupied islands, Greater Tunb, Lesser Tunb, and Abu Musa, calling for unified Arab action to restore Emirati sovereignty over these territories.

Perhaps the most striking demand in the SLP's statement is financial: a formal compensation program worth $500 billion USD, funded through Iranian oil revenues, to redress the human and material devastation inflicted on the Syrian people by Tehran's decades of interference.

It is a bold figure, and a deliberate one, designed to put Iran's crimes in Syria on the global economic agenda.

The SLP also expressed solidarity with the Iraqi people, calling for the dismantling of Iranian-backed militias and the restoration of Iraqi sovereignty over border territories it says have been seized by Iran since the fall of Saddam Hussein's regime.

The Syrian Liberal Party's statement represents a hardening of positions across the Arab world toward Tehran. With Gulf security under threat, ISIS resurging in Syria, and Iran's proxies entrenched across the region, the SLP is sending an unambiguous message:

The time for warnings is over. The time for action has come.
