The UAE and Chad are stepping up their financial collaboration, following a high-level meeting between UAE Minister of State for Financial Affairs, Mohamed bin Hadi Al Hussaini, and his Chadian counterpart, Tahir Hamid Nguilin, Minister of Finance, Budget, Economy, Planning, and International Cooperation.

The agenda: unlock new opportunities for financial cooperation, strengthen institutional ties, and ramp up the exchange of expertise in fiscal governance.

Al Hussaini reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to deepening ties with African partners. “We believe in building strong, results-driven financial partnerships. Sharing technical know-how and investing in talent are key to resilient public finance systems,” he said.

Both sides highlighted the urgency of turning dialogue into action—through capacity-building programs, shared best practices, and agile cooperation frameworks aligned with their national development agendas.
